Treadmill belts, are they as small as they sound?
Im looking into buying a treadmill, and the widest belt Ive found is about 43cm. I dont see how I could run on something that thin Ive never used a treadmill before, is it difficult to stay on the belt at all?Dear second answer. I asked a specific question. New Treadmill Belt Has a Weird Smell?
I bought a treadmill 4 days ago and I noticed a weird smell in the room where it is. The belt smells like onions I have wiped it down with the lysol cleaner in a bottle and it still smells, so I tried wiping it with fabuloso all purpose cleaner and that still didn't help. Is this a normal smell because it's new? anyone else experience this with a new treadmill?

Why does my treadmill belt stick with each step?
When I go for a walk on my treadmill, its like my weight stops the belt from being able to move and it just sticks for a second until it pushes me along. It makes it feel extremely unnatural and it doesn't really change with speed, however, its extremely less noticeable when I run. The other thing that I've noticed is that the belt has a tendency to shift and rub up against the right side of the treadmill. My boyfriend who is much lighter than I am has the same problem with the belt sticking, but not with the belt shifting when he walks. Treadmill belt problem?
I have a pro form treadmill. I step on the belt and it stops, but it runs fine if no one is on it. I've tried lubricating it with sillicone. I've tried tightening it like it says in the manual. But neither one of these things work. Does anyone else have any troubleshooting ideas. Or has this happened to you? Thanks
