I have a sciatica problem. which would be a better workout for me a cross trainer or treadmill?
please suggest any other exercises which would be beneficial for a person in their teens with sciatica

I was on the treadmill and speed walked at 3.5, machine said i burned about 300 calories, isnt it low?
Walked for a whole hour and 5min it was pretty tiring and it said I lost a little over 300 calories but I just ate a banana and I looked it up and it said bananas are 100 calories each that makes my hard work of 1 hour sound wasted to have 1 3 of it erased by a simple banana, is 1 hour exercise a day really going to get me losing the small belly I have or am I gonna have to push it to 2 hours?

I need advice on using a treadmill?
I started to exercise after gaining a lot of weight after I had a baby. I have a lot to loose in my stomach and thighs.I am using a treadmill 5 days a week for an hour. Would it be better to walk at a slower pace and a higher grade, or a lower grade and a faster speed.I am currently doing a speed of 3.0 3.5 and a grade of 5.5 6.5

My weight should be 75 78kg.I am doing 20 30 minutes of treadmill15 minutes cross trainer10 15 minutes cycling.little bit of barbel curls ,chin ups , stretching .i get tired after gym feel sleepy and headache .I was thinking to do also take up parkour for weight loss fitness but i get so tired from gyming only 60 70 minutes . How to manage both these things . I go to the gym in the evening.I am also trying to control on my diet ,i am not able to deprive my self from tasty food but trying my level best and taking small portions ,eating fruits ,cutting down on coke at times i drink ice tea,lemon aid ,..I have stopped fast food burgers ,fries but sometimes i take little bit mutton chicken ,cottage cheese .How much time will it take me to reduce and get my weight till 76 78kg.

Best footwear for running on a treadmill?
Hi,I have started going to the gym every morning and doing just over half an hour on the treadmill building up to running 5k, and I need some new trainers for this as my current ones are very old and breaking.I just need some advice on what is best to look for in trainers for running on a treadmill? I know for running outside you need very good trainers with good soles as running on concrete is very harsh on your joints which is why i stick to the treadmill.My current shoes are very basic, have quite thing soles and are flexible and the only problem I've really had with them is i get blisters on the tips of my toes after long runs? so should I just re purchase something similar? also is there anything to do to stop these blisters? I cant afford very expensive ones as I am a student on a tight budget.any advice would be much appreciated Thanks in advance guysxxx

I know I can't spot reduce, but how low high of an incline should I do my interval training in order to burn fat instead of building up more muscle? I've learned that a too high resistance incline in cardio will build up muscle instead of burn fat.
