Should we buy a treadmill or an elliptical for home use.?
My husband and I want to buy either a treadmill or an elliptical. I have always thought that the elliptical was much more difficult and less pleasant than the work out that I get from the treadmill. We want to buy a good piece of equipment that both of us can use, but he prefers the elliptical and does not think he will use a treadmill if we bought it for home. I feel the same, but vice versa. Can someone shed some light on the subject? Thanks

this summer i've gained some pounds and i'd like to lose them. my problem is the exercise. in my country it's so hot today we have 113 degrees so i can't get outside of the house.but if i buy it now i won't use it again. when the school starts again i have lots of activities and i won't use it. also there's not a gym in my neighborhood so does it worth it? what should i do?

The treadmill would be about $150 and the boot camp class would be $75 a month. I'm considering the class because I took it at school for a semester and loved it But I'm also considering a treadmill because I could run on my own time and more often if I'd like to. Opinions? Thanks

I'm 19 and trying to get in shape. Right now, my main goal is to just lose some weight. I'm stuck between buying a treadmill or an indoor exercise bike. I'm just not sure which one would help me more. If someone could steer me in the right direction, that would be great. And if you could maybe suggest some good brands with that choice, it would be great too.

I usually would go for a walk but I moved to a place where there is no near park and it's cold so I want to workout but I can't decide on buying a treadmill or going to the gym? at the gym I can socialize and use different equipment but if I buy a treadmill it will also be pricy but not as much only that I'll be alone and it doesn't sound as fun.

I have done price comparison shopping and I found a new treadmill at Sears priced cheaper than all the used models I looked at whilst still maintaining decent quality according to Consumer Reports . What questions should I be asking before I commit to purchasing a treadmill? I have to shop alone and don't want to look like a naive moron and buy every sell up they offer. PLus, Sears offers a $220 5 year warranty unlimited repair, annual oil lube and adjustments . Is that $220 worth it? Any advice MUCH appreciated.Note Please don't tell me to save my $$$ and jog outside I have a medical condition that I get miserably sick exercising when the weather is even a little hot humid. Please don't tell me to join a gym I've priced out the options and think for my circumstances treadmill is best. I am aware of places like Craiglist EVERY person I've dealt with there has been noting short of spooky and eBay s h far too expensive .

Treadmill Pros I don't have to go out. I can just exercise whenever at home. I can run safe at home and not have to deal with weather. cons Most good treadmills are expensive. I'm only doing cardio. Possibility of getting bored with treadmill.Gym A lot of different equipment I can use. cons having to drive to the gym, having to deal with all the gym ordeal such as packed with people, germs,...people. Sucks if you live in cold weather and the gym is far away.
Bought a treadmill an have put it together but 4 screws left over?
some how i got 4 screws left over i cant find an area where they go.. is this just screws left over in case if i lose any others?
